Ziploc Unlocs the First Step in their recycling journey, and invites you to join them.

As a brand, Ziploc is dipping its toe into the world of environmentally friendly product creation. To bring attention to their efforts, we created Unloc the First Step: Ziploc’s first-ever recycling campaign, with every touchpoint designed to create a path to purchase.

Ziploc will tap Eco-Lite influencers.

We all have to start somewhere.

Ziploc will sponsor influencers who share their start to making their life greener, and the small impactful ways they can improve- starting with Ziploc.

The content will be centered around sustainable living and the benefits of our new recycled product.

Paid and UGC social posts will take it from there…

Partnering with eco-lite influencers who will review our product through paid social posts will help Ziploc develop a community— leading to user generated content as the word spreads about the new bag made out of recycled plastic. Ziploc will capitalize on that with an added opt-in program called The 25% Club. It’s a badge that Unlocs discounts through Amazon on relevant purchases & early access to future Ziploc sustainable product launches to test them, plus receive meaningful content about important steps in Ziploc’s sustainability journey.

And where would we be without seeding the product?

In Ziploc’s first-every “Boxless Unboxing”, they’ll seed the new bag to influencers in a cute lil tote that can be reused again and again.

Last but not least…paperless ads.

The whole point of an eco-friendly campaign is to be as sustainable in as many pieces as possible, right? Ziploc will work with Amazon Fresh to print QR codes that will direct consumers to the Ziploc Amazon store page. Scan, Shop, Buy. It’s that simple— AND they’re using algae-based inks. So eve the printing process is sustainable.
